Theme: Inspired by the beautiful colours of abendrot and the unique contrasts of colours along the streets, I’ve created a watercolour painting depicting the sunset scene in one of the streets in Japan.
Medium: Kuretake watercolor
Material: 200gsm 100% acid free cotton paper
Challenge & Solution: I feel that the challenge of this painting was painting the sky and reflect it on the windowpane. It was rather tricky, and there were some failed attempts but I managed to finish the painting after a few tries.
