Background story: Db is a brand under Dawn Bridge, it is a supplement brand which aims to provide clean, allergen-free product for special needs children. The reason why special needs children need clean, allergen-free product is due to their sensitive gut and special requirements in diet, in order to help them in terms of mood and physical health.
Brief: I was tasked to design a series of packaging design and brochure layout to deliver the message and atmosphere of the brand to customers.
Approach: I am inspired to design the packaging and brochure in a very minimalistic and organic way, as the products are to be sold in pharmacy. I avoid putting too much on the layout and packagings, instead using colours to separate one product from another, and with that, it will help create impression of how someone would feel by taking that supplement. I’ve added simple graphic layout at the front corner of the packaging to give the products visual identity.
Challenge & Solution: The biggest challenge of this project is to find a unique colour series that reflects the benefits of the products, as some are quite similar in nature.
