Background story: <\/strong>Dawn Bridge is a company who aims to help special needs children and its community through various platforms and services, including creating awareness, provide allergen-free product for special needs children, due to their sensitive gut and special requirements in diet to help them in terms of mood and physical health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brief:<\/strong> I was tasked to design a corporate leather notebook for potential future partners and professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approach: <\/strong>I am inspired to design the inner page in a way that it does not restrict the user from making notes on the particular date that they want, as there are a lot of notebooks in the market that includes date and year on each page. I designed the inner pages of the notebook by including the slogan and secondary logo on the first page, continuing with main logo and introduction of brand, mission and vision, core value as well as a QR code that leads the user to Dawn Bridge’s Linktree profile. The following empty pages are designed with flexibility where one can write the date on their own, with a bigger space on top of the page to allow important notes or to-dos etc. The edge of the pages are designed with the repeated print to give the leather notebook a unique touch that represents Dawn Bridge. I’ve chosen dark blue colour for the leather, one of the main corporate colour of Dawn Bridge. The notebooks are flexible to add and remove sheets as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge & Solution:<\/strong> The biggest challenge of this project is to ensure the designs are accurate when the design instructions are being relayed to the supplier overseas. Many discussions were held over chats and pictures, where determining colour accuracy on the printed samples became a challenge. Fortunately the supplier was very accommodating and answered my request on filming high resolution videos. This has managed to help me ensure that the sample is accurate for bulk production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
